What to Expect
When you arrive on a Sunday morning, you’ll be welcomed by friendly greeters who can show you around and answer your questions without being overbearing. You’ll receive some information about our ministry as well as a free copy of John Piper’s book Seeing & Savoring Jesus Christ as our gift to you. If you have children, a greeter will direct you to special ministries just for them. Feel free to peruse the welcome table and check out what’s going on with small groups and other activities. And be sure to enjoy a cup of fresh-brewed coffee and an Einstein’s bagel before finding a seat in the auditorium.
As the worship begins…
a thoughtfully planned blend of God-centered worship music and Scripture meditations will help you focus your heart and mind on the greatness and goodness of God. A moment of quiet reflection will give you the opportunity to respond to God in your heart, either through confession or praise. Each week you’ll hear a no-nonsense, Christ-centered message straight from God’s Word. After the sermon, you will enjoy an extended time of worship that includes singing, communion, and occasional testimonies of God’s grace.
Stick around after the service for a time of fellowship with neighbors and friends. Occasionally, we will invite you to an interactive Q & A session that will help you apply the message of God’s Word to your everyday life.
After the service…
a group will often head to one of the neighborhood restaurants for some food and fellowship. You are welcome to join them and begin enjoying some new friendships right away.
